Yes, there are chainmailers and spammers everywhere, but that doesn't mean that they're allowed. I tend to give them just as much a hard time as other point-grabbing accounts. Not saying that you are, but I'm just saying that I've never seen a single point-giving account on this site that was legitimate. Most people may try with good intentions and would fail after not receiving enough points to take off their business. Others never intend to give back in the first place. Either way, I can't take them seriously if they need to rely on other people to donate points rather than purchasing them themselves.

Blind advertising is not the way to go. Maybe note that you're looking for points in your signature or start a donation pool and not make the main purpose of your account seem like a place where points go to die. This will prevent you from getting sass and bashing regarding your spam comments and will make people more likely to see you as someone legitimately trying to make a point donation account rather than just being another ignored, cheap scam that only two or so people would fall for. You could also always try asking some of your friends or relatives in real life if you're serious about it enough, or do commissions or llamatrades.
